The former Broncos -winning quarterback was brought on a consultant for CBS’ opening to Super Bowl LIII in a skit that aired before the game began.

In it, Manning pitches an idea to executives about gladiator battle taking place at the Coliseum in Rome.

At one point, John Malkovich shows up on a video call — in Rome — asking, “Acting experience? Doing what? Oh! Of course: field parm.”

“Chicken parm,” Manning quickly corrects.

“‘Cut that meat.’ How could I have forgotten, I mean it shook me to core of my being! Oh, Peyton, great thespian.”
