One person was hurt during a 10-car, chain-reaction crash at northbound Speer Boulevard and 13th Street in downtown Denver during rush hour Monday morning.
A woman was injured when she climbed out of her car following a succession of crashes and was struck by another car, according to a Denver dispatcher.
Northbound Speer is closed at 13th Street, said Denver police spokesman Jay Casillas.
Officers are investigating a 10 vehicle crash at NB Speer Blvd and 13th. No injuries reported at this time. NB Speer is closed at 13th Ave. Alternate routes advised.

“I’m sure the weather played a factor,” the dispatcher said.
The initial collision happened at 12th Street and Speer Boulevard at 7:54 a.m., the dispatcher said.
Most of the damages to cars was minor because traffic was slow in winter driving conditions, he said.
