The westbound lanes of Martin Luther King Boulevard are closed at Dahlia Street after a car careened into a sinkhole early Thursday morning, police say.

No one was injured in the crash, according to a 6:54 a.m. Denver police tweet.

Denver Water employees had repaired a broken 12-inch water main Wednesday night, according to a Denver Water report.

The car plummeted into the hole after repair work was done, the city report says.

The vehicle crashed into a sinkhole at the intersection of MLK and Cherry street, police say.

It’s unclear how long it will take to repair the sinkhole.
