A hit-and-run suspect is still at-large Saturday, a day after hitting and killing a pedestrian in Lakewood, police in a news release.
At about 10:20 p.m., an adult male was crossing West Colfax Ave. in the crosswalk when he was struck by a white pickup truck, police said. Multiple people witnessed the hit, the release said, and saw the driver continue driving eastbound after striking the pedestrian.
Police attempted life-saving measures on the pedestrian, authorities said, but he died at the scene.
Police have not yet identified the victim or the driver.
