An unlucky driver Monday night met the business end of large chunk of rock.
Colorado State Patrol briefly closed Interstate 70 near Vail Monday night after a rockslide, which hurled a sizable chunk into the front hood of a car.
The state patrol said nobody was injured in the slide.
In a tweet, state patrol showed the rock had ripped a hole in the front hood of the white SUV, denting the front end of the car.
I-70 is temporary closed westbound at MP 171 (near Vail) due to rockslide. NO INJURIES, driver and passengers very lucky in one of the cars hit by the rocks. We expect to open the roadway in the next 15 minutes.
