Police are investigating a vicious hand-to-hand knife fight in which two men and a woman were stabbed early Friday morning, leaving one man with serious injuries.
All three stabbing victims were taken to a hospital. One of the men suffered serious stab wounds. The other man and a woman are expected to survive their injuries, said Doug Schepman, Denver police spokesman.
Everyone who was involved in the battle was hospitalized, Schepman said.
“We’re not looking for anyone else in this,” he said.
The stabbings inside a home in the 3700 block of Race Street were reported to police at 5:29 a.m., Schepman said.
“We have more investigating to do to pin down what led to this and who is responsible,” he said.
If the confrontation was a domestic violence incident specially trained officers will be called in to investigate as well as detectives already involved, Schepman said.
None of the three people who were involved have been charged with any crimes yet, he said.
