An 18-year-old man has been arrested for investigation of murder in the death of a man who initially was reported as a missing person.
Blake Quinlan was being held in an unrelated case in Sherman County, Texas when he was transferred to Colorado, Jenny Fulton, spokeswoman of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, said.
Investigators recovered the body of 28-year-old murder victim Joseph Michael Brinson in Byers on Wednesday, the news release says.
Brinson’s family reported that he was missing on Jan. 23.
