

Hello friends, the day we have all been waiting for is finally here. The Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club is being played for the 83rd time this spring.
There are a number of great story lines coming into the season’s first major. Rory McIlroy is looking to complete the career grad slam. Tiger Woods is healthy and looking to bounce back and win his fifth green jacket and 15th major championship overall. Justin Rose regained the title of World No. 1, he also has his longtime caddie Mark “Fooch” Fulcher back on his bag this week. The field is strong as always and it is sure to be a fun weekend of golf.
A reason fans around the world love this event is because The Masters is the only major championship that is played at the same golf course every season. Fans know the course, the names of holes, the history of the tournament and its traditions. It is sure to be a memorable four days.
Here’s a look at my picks for this year’s tournament:

There are a number of players who have a chance to win the 83rd playing of The Masters. Like previous years I will break down my picks by world golf rankings. I will also select a first-time participant and select a flier pick as well.
World golf ranking 1-5: Rory McIlroy
World golf ranking 6-10: Rickie Fowler
World golf ranking 11-20: Paul Casey
First Timer: Keith Mitchell
Flier pick: Gary Woodland
