The officer-involved shooting occurred in the 300 block of Longfellow Drive, police said.

Colorado Springs police said on Twitter that one suspect has been taken into custody, and there is no threat to the community.

Police have not released details about what led to the shooting or the incident that officers had responded to at that address. The agency said on Twitter that the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office was taking over the investigation.
