Cowboy up!
The Colorado Avalanche have had a few days to dust themselves off after beating up on the No. 1-seeded Calgary Flames in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The win in Game 5 at Calgary advanced the Avs into the second round of the playoffs for the first time in more than a decade.
The Avs aren’t the only playoff team in town as the Denver Nuggets are in a first-round battle with the San Antonio Spurs. The series is 3-2 after the Nuggets beat the Spurs in Game 5 at Pepsi Center.
During the Nuggets game a few well-known faces made an appearance on the jumbo-tron at Pepsi Center as a handful of Avs’ players decided to enjoy some down time before the second round starts later this week.
Cale Makar, the newest member of the Avalanche as of Game 3 on April 15, was one of the players who took in the Nuggets game. He also made his first appearance on said jump-tron at “The Can” and it didn’t disappoint, as .
It looks as though Makar is embracing his newfound Colorado ties. I say rock the straw hat, and keep on, keepin’ on.
Omg got a perfect shot 😂😂😂
