Denver Post staffers say who the Broncos should select with the 10th overall pick and who general manager will take:
Mark Kiszla (columnist)

Who should they pick: Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama. This is never going to happen in a million years. The Broncos have too many other holes to fill, and they already have a back in hometown hero . So this is my way of declaring: Jacobs is going to be a star. Denver won’t take him, but you should in your fantasy draft.
Who will they pick: Devin White, LB, Louisiana State, or Ed Oliver, DT, Houston. Both of these players could well be gone among the top five selections, so I’m not counting on even one of them being there for the Broncos. But if there’s one trade into the top 10 by a quarterback-needy team, either White or Oliver could slide to Denver. I’d put the chances at no more than 30 percent. Stranger things, however, have happened. See: Chubb, Bradley.

Who should they pick: Byron Murphy, CB, Washington. A bit of a reach if the Broncos stay at 10, but it makes more sense now that the Broncos/ marriage is on the cusp of crumbling. The Broncos need to add a cornerback who can equal parts play right away and eventually be the No. 1 guy.
Who will they pick: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan. At 5-foot-11, he was the shortest linebacker at the Combine but he can run (4.43-second 40-yard dash at the Combine). He may not be an every-down player right away, but when on the field, he should be able to solve the Broncos’ issue of covering tight ends.
Kyle Fredrickson (beat writer)

Who should they pick: T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa: Only three tight ends have been taken within the first 10 picks over the last two decades. But Hockenson’s skill set has been compared to that of . Now imagine that force in Rich Scangarello’s offense, much like the 49ers used George Kittle last season.
Who they will pick: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State: Sorry, , but when Haskins slips to No. 10, it’s going to be ultra-difficult for John Elway not to get his quarterback of the future. Haskins is the most pro-ready passer in the class and has a huge arm, much like Flacco, but in a more mobile 21-year-old package. Can Elway redeem his quarterback evaluation reputation?
