Denver police are investigating a fatal train-pedestrian collision with RTD’s A-Line on Saturday, the second fatal train accident in two days at the same location.
Denver police spokesman Tyrone Campbell said the incident occurred about 1:58 p.m. at the Central Park Station in the 8200 block of East Smith Road. Campbell identified the deceased only as an adult male.
On Friday afternoon, a pedestrian was killed about 5 p.m. at the same station. An investigation into that incident is ongoing.
UPDATE in regard to 8200 Blk of East Smith Road. The incident involving the “A Line” is being investigated as a non-criminal event.
