Tyson Jost got the Avalanche on the scoreboard with his first career playoff goal in Game 5 against the Sharks when the puck deflected into the net off his left leg late in the second period.
The goal came at 17:01 of the period. Winger J.T. Compher was credited with the assist on the play when his shot caromed off Sharks goalie Martin Jones and toward Jost.
