Getting your player ready...

Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio has had a good run of being a “lucky charm” to other sports teams in towns where he has previously coached.

Most recently Fangio was in the building for Game 7 when the Nuggets beat the Spurs. It looks as though Fangio might make another appearance at “The Can” this Sunday when the Nuggets play host to the Trail Blazers.

Following the first day of rookie minicamp, Fangio spoke with the media about his team and touched on the Nuggets’ upcoming game this weekend. He hinted at how he should be there for the big game.

“Well, I was there for Game 7 against the Spurs, so they might want to make sure I’m in the building,” Fangio said at Dove Valley. “I think they’ll win, seriously… they’re a better team.”

It wouldn’t hurt the Nuggets and Co. to drop a couple tickets off at Dove Valley for the Broncos new coach. You never know when you might need a Broncos playoff ticket.

Fangio also loves Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and thinks coach is doing a great job.
