A man was fatally stabbed in Denver’s Barnum neighborhood on Thursday night and police have a suspect in custody.

The stabbing happened near West Ellsworth Avenue and Knox Court, according to Denver police.
Officers were called to the scene and the victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. A man is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder.
An investigation is ongoing.
