Bike to Work Day, that annual excuse to consume more calories than you burn while commuting without reliance on the internal combustion engine, is set to unfold Wednesday in bike lanes across the metro area and in far-flung spots around the state.
There are way too many breakfast burritos and “bike parties” to tally up here. (78 stations in Denver alone). There’s also in the metro area, broken down by breakfast stations, water stations and “bike parties.”
Here’s one that caught our eye: An after-work party station at Big Ring Cycles in Golden. There will be two dozen other similar bike parties from Boulder to Centennial.
