
Authorities are searching for a 26-year-old Eagle County man who was last seen early Tuesday morning.
Tayler Esslinger, of Gypsum, was last seen driving a black 2011 Dodge pickup truck, and was believed to be heading into the mountains, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.

Esslinger is a detention deputy with Eagle County and a volunteer firefighter with the Gypsum Fire Protection District, according to the Sheriff’s Department. His truck has firefighter licenses plates on it with plate number 719YBC.
Officers are continuing to search for Esslinger. At this time, foul play is not suspected.
