Aurora police have arrested a man for investigation of homicide after he allegedly stabbed and killed a man, authorities said.
The names of the suspect and victim have not been released. The victim’s name will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office after his identity has been confirmed and relatives have been notified.
The stabbing happened at around 6 p.m. Sunday at 965 S. Ivory St. A 911 call was made at 6:04 p.m., according to an Aurora Police Department news release.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead on Monday, the news release said.
Police are not releasing the identity of the suspect at this time because of the ongoing investigation.
