A fire broke out at Faith Tabernacle Church in Greeley Sunday night, but no injuries have been reported, according to the Greeley Fire Department.

At 8:09 p.m. the Greeley Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at the Faith Tabernacle Church in the 7000 block of 28th Street, according to a news release from the fire department.

A fire in the attic of the church progressed to a second-alarm fire, but no injuries have been reported at this time, the release said.

According to , about 180 people were in the church when the fire broke out, but everyone was able to evacuate safely.

Witnessed in the area reported seeing a lightning strike near the church, according to the release, but the cause of the fire is currently unknown. The fire is under investigation.
