A motorcyclist was killed late Thursday night on eastbound 6th Avenue near Interstate 25, Denver police said.
The name and gender of the motorcycle rider, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not been released.
Denver police closed eastbound 6th Avenue at Federal Boulevard to conduct a crash investigation, according to a 10:32 p.m. police tweet.
The highway has since been reopened.
TRAFFIC: Officers are investigating a single motorcycle fatal crash at EB 6th at I-25. One person has been pronounced deceased on scene. EB 6th is closed at Federal. Alternate route advised.
