Englewood police are searching for a 1998 Chevrolet Impala in connection with a shooting Sunday afternoon that left one person dead and a second seriously injured.
“We have possibly four people on the loose,” said Scot Allen, Englewood police spokesman.
The suspects fled the shooting that happened in an alley in the 3600 block of South Bannock Street at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
“We haven’t identified the suspects yet or located the car,” Allen said.
One possible motive for the shooting is robbery, he said. But police are looking at other possible reasons, he said.
“We’re not sure at this stage,” Allen said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
