At last: Our wait for a restaurant in Denver dedicated to authentic New England seafood is nearly over.

Maine Shack is finally scheduled to open in LoHi on Tuesday, July 30, according to an announcement Tuesday.

It’s been more than a year since the restaurant from Max Mackissock, Katie O’Shea and Juan Padro of Culinary Creative Group — the team behind Señor Bear and Bar Dough — was announced, with plans for a summer 2018 opening. But construction and permit delays pushed that back several times, according to reps for the New England-style seafood eatery.

That means fresh Maine lobster rolls, whole-belly fried clams, sea scallops, steamers, roast beef, skin-on fries and more are mere days away.

Avast, ye landlubbers!

Maine Shack, 1535 Central St., opening July 30.
