A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a 57-year-old man in Denver.

Malando Sanders, 53, has been arrested in connection to the death of Marcus Nash, police said in a news release Wednesday.

Nash was shot on June 3 near the intersection of 21st and Champa streets, police said.

Sanders is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder. A tip from the public helped investigators identify Sanders as a suspect, the release said.
