
“Schittap Creek,” the sitcom about a family of rich Canadians marooned in a small town, earned on Tuesday, continuing its transition from under-watched critic’s darling to cult hit.
The nominations — including Best Comedy Series, and a pair of acting nods — could hardly have come at a better time for the show. On Monday, promoter Live Nation announced the Denver stop of the national Schittap Creek: Up Close & Personal tour, which puts co-stars and co-creators Daniel Levy and his real-life dad Eugene Levy on stage together.
Tickets for the Oct. 18 event, which takes place 8 p.m. at the Buell Theatre, go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19. Tickets will cost $49.50-$99.50 and are available by calling 888-929-7849 or visiting .

Following events and cast reunions at festivals around the country, “Schittap Creek” is taking to the road to promote its forthcoming (and final) season, the show’s sixth. Commissioned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. and airing its first few seasons on CBS’ digital streaming platform Pop TV, “Schittap Creek” was added to Netflix before its fifth season, massively expanding its audience and prompting dozens of online appreciations of its wry, big-hearted humor.
The Up Close & Personal tour promises an interactive evening of that gives fans an insider’s look at the making of the series through clips, behind‐the‐scenes footage, stories and “special surprises,” according to a press release.
