One person died in a crash Saturday evening in the Clayton neighborhood, according to Denver police.

The crash occurred after 10 p.m. at Bruce Randolph Avenue and Columbine Street, police said on Twitter. The road was closed at Bruce Randolph Avenue between Josephine Street and Elizabeth Circle as police investigated the crash.

Police did not provide any more details about the crash. Denver police spokesman Tyrone Campbell said investigators are still trying to determine the cause, so he could not give more details on the incident other than to confirm the fatality, and he didn’t know how many cars were involved in the crash.
