
Clear, sunny skies and hot temperatures are expected early Friday. A few isolated clouds could bring rain showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon, said the National Weather Service in Boulder.
The high temperature on Friday is expected to be around 93 degrees. The chance for rain and thunderstorms will increase from 10 percent after 4 p.m. to 20 percent at night, the NWS said.
Rain will be heavy in some areas, falling at the rate of up to 1 inch per half hour, the NWS said.

Rain and thunderstorms are likely Saturday afternoon, when the high temperature will be about 91 degrees, forecasters said. The chance for precipitation will be 60 percent. Winds could gust as high as 23 degrees.
Temperatures will climb to the lower-to-mid 90s each day between Sunday and the middle of next week, the weather service said. Isolated rain showers are possible each of those days, the NWS said.
