Steamy temperatures in metro Denver on Saturday will give way to heavy afternoon storms that could include hail.
Highs in Denver are expected to reach 91 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Heavy afternoon rain is expected, forecasters said, with up to 1 inch of rain in 30 minutes.
Wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour and small hail are also possible, NWS said.
Sunday will feature warm temperatures with scattered afternoon thunderstorms mainly in the high country.
