The Denver Police Department has arrested two suspects in separate homicide cases, the department .

Police arrested Elliott McDuffie, 26, on suspicion of first-degree murder and first-degree assault on Monday in connection with a shooting that took place early Friday morning in the Montebello neighborhood.
At 1:50 a.m. a shooting was reported in the 12400 block of East Albrook Drive, where police found two victims. A female victim was pronounced dead at a hospital, and a male victim was seriously injured but survived. The incident was one of four unconnected shootings over a nine-hour period in Denver on Thursday evening and Friday morning that left three dead and two injured.

Officers also arrested Sean Landrock, 25, on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with a shooting that took place Monday in the Montclair neighborhood. Officers responded to the 8000 block of East 12th Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Monday on a reported shooting and found a dead woman in an apartment.
The shooting appears to be domestic-violence related, the news release said. The woman’s identity has not been released. Landrock was taken into custody Monday evening, the release said.
