Brighton police are investigating a fatal crash that left one person dead where authorities believed aggressive driving played a role in the crash.
The crash occurred around 8 p.m. Saturday on Highway 85 near 124th Avenue, according to Brighton police on Twitter.
Police shut down northbound lanes from East 124th Avenue and southbound lanes East 120th Avenue.
We are investigating a serious crash on Hwy 85. The northbound lanes are shutdown from E. 124th Ave and the southbound lanes are shut down from E. 120th Ave. We have an air ambulance enroute to the scene.

After 9 p.m., police tweeted that the crash was now a fatal crash, with one driver succumbing to injuries. Authorities said the preliminary investigation shows that aggressive driving contributed to the crash.
