East 16th Avenue reopened after police determine person’s death not suspicious

Police have reopened East 16th Avenue between Broadway and Lincoln Avenue after investigating the discovery of a body early Tuesday morning and determining that the person’s death was not suspicious in nature, Denver police said.

The gender and identity of the dead person has not been released.

Police had closed 16th Avenue between Broadway and Lincoln Avenue for several hours during a police investigation.
