A man who was shot in the Whittier neighborhood and died at Denver Health has been identified.
Mark Duckworth, 21, died of a gunshot wound, according to the Denver medical examiner’s office. His manner of death is a homicide.

Duckworth was shot about 12:45 a.m. Monday near East 27th Avenue and High Street, according to police.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the shooting or a suspect is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
