Montrose won by just a single point over Durango.

Jordan Woolverton powered Durango’s passing attack with 121 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown without an interception. Woolverton also added 40 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Woolverton’s most relied on target in the contest was Gage Mestas, who caught two passes for 45 yards.

In addition to Woolverton’s effort, Everett Howland lead the Durangorushing game by racking up 32 yards in the game.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Montrose heading to play Palisade and Durango taking on Farmington.
