Hanover couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Stratton/Liberty squad, losing by a score of 71-8.
Stratton/Liberty quarterback Zeke Craig led the passing attack with 116 yards through the air. Zeke Craig’s favorite receiver in the ballgame was Jon Gallardo, who caught two passes for 68 yards.
Alex Cruz lead all Stratton/Liberty rushers with 116 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 16.6 yards per carry. Charlie Clapper added 80 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 16 yards per carry, as well as 34 receiving yards.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Stratton/Liberty heading to play Peetz and Hanover taking on Colorado School for the Deaf Blind.
