Platte Canyon couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Wiggins squad, losing by a score of 40-8.

Cole Kerr led Wiggins’ passing attack with 154 yards through the air, tossing four touchdowns with no interceptions. Kerr also added 90 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Kerr’s most relied on target in the contest was Logan Kerr, who caught three passes for 74 yards and one score. Eric Flores contributed in the passing game as well, catching five balls for 60 yards and three touchdowns.

In addition to Cole Kerr’s effort, Ryder Baessler lead the Wigginsrushing game by accumulating 87 yards in the game, averaging 14.5 yards per carry.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Wiggins hosting Lyons and Platte Canyon taking on Colorado Springs Christian.

Platte Canyon has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
