Centaurus beat Widefield by a score of 26-14 on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Centaurus quarterback Nathen Rodriguez led the aerial attack with 70 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Titis Gebhardt lead all Centaurus receivers with six catches for 51 yards and one score.

Anthony Medina lead the Centaurus ground game by racking up 76 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. Nick Faraca added 64 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Paul Young led Widefield’s passing attack with 81 yards through the air. Young also added 116 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Kaleb Maska lead all Widefield receivers with four catches for 40 yards and one score.

In addition to Young’s effort, Jerrod Adams lead the Widefield rushing attack by racking up 19 yards in the game.

Centaurus will play host to Wheat Ridge, while Widefield will travel to play Mesa Ridge.
