Columbine easily put away Highlands Ranch by a score of 44-7 on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Tanner Hollens paced the Columbine rushing attack by accumulating 151 yards and five touchdowns in the game, averaging 15.1 yards per carry. Adam Harrington added 61 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 10.2 yards per carry.

Highlands Ranch quarterback Jake Rubley led the passing attack with 140 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown with no interceptions. Konor Lathrop lead all Highlands Ranch receivers with five receptions for 78 yards.

Highlands Ranch’s ground game was paced by Dylan Gurule who tallied 33 yards in the game.

Looking ahead to their next games, Highlands Ranch will stay home and play Pomona, while Columbine will travel to play Olathe North.
