Briggsdale easily handled Idalia by a score of 70-39 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Tyler Blickem powered Briggsdale’s passing attack with 149 yards through the air. Kaleb Brown was also Briggsdale’s leading receiver on the day.
Briggsdale’s rushing attack was spearheaded by Malik Carlson who tallied 142 yards in the game, averaging 8.9 yards per carry. Luke Stewart added 117 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 9.8 yards per carry. Brown chipped in with 81 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 13.5 yards per carry, in addition to 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Briggsdale heading to play Weldon Valley and Idalia taking on Flagler/Hi-Plains.
