Brighton managed to prevail in a low-scoring game against Skyline, 11-6 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Alex Griffeth led Brighton’s passing attack with 71 yards through the air. Griffeth’s favorite receiver in the game was Noah Canale, who caught one pass for 40 yards.
Brighton’s rushing attack was lead by Ivan Scarpino who racked up 21 yards and one touchdown in the game.
Chase Silva powered Skyline’s passing attack with 67 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and two interception. Silva’s most prolific receiver in the contest was Grayden Bridwell, who caught four passes for 25 yards.
Finn Torello paced the Skyline rushing attack by racking up 55 yards in the game, averaging 13.8 yards per carry.
Brighton will play host to Greeley Central, while Skyline will travel to play Longmont.
