Caliche easily handled Byers by a score of 50-7 on Friday, Sept. 20.

Caliche’s ground attack was paced by Dylan Huss who accrued 264 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 12 yards per carry. Riley Stump added 134 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 12.2 yards per carry.

Ty Miller led Byers’ passing attack with 66 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Byers’ leading receiver was Nathan Fritzler, who caught one pass for 57 yards and one score.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Caliche hosting Dayspring Christian Academy and Byers taking on Sedgwick County.
