Centauri easily defeated Olathe by a score of 41-0 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Centauri quarterback Eric Maez led the passing attack with 117 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Maez also added one touchdown on the ground. Eric Maez’s most prolific target in the contest was Baron Holman, who caught four passes for 83 yards and one score.
Centauri’s rushing game was lead by Mason Claunch who ran for 173 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 13.3 yards per carry. Taj Cornum added 52 yards on the ground, averaging 4 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Centauri hosting Questa and Olathe taking on Cedaredge.
