Holly easily put away Las Animas by a score of 52-12 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Dakota Eaton led Holly’s passing attack with 161 yards through the air, throwing three touchdowns and one interception. Eaton also added 61 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Alex Ramos was also Holly’s leading receiver on the day. Colby Swopes got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in one ball for 55 yards.
Donovan Pecina paced all Holly rushers with 103 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 8.6 yards per carry. Eli Ramos added 94 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 9.4 yards per carry. Alex Ramos contributed 70 yards and one touchdown, averaging 23.3 yards per carry, in addition to 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Caden Morlan lead all Las Animas rushers with 88 yards in the game, averaging 5.5 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Holly hosting Fowler and Las Animas taking on Hoehne.
