Lutheran defeated Green Mountain by a score of 19-15 on Friday, Sept. 20.

Lutheran quarterback Max Rivkin led the passing attack with 140 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and two interceptions. Max Rivkin’s most reliable receiver in the game was Andre Norman, who caught seven passes for 100 yards and one score.

Brandon Belgrave spearheaded the Lutheran ground game by finishing with 74 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 10.6 yards per carry.

Trey Towndrow powered Green Mountain’s passing attack with 155 yards through the air. Towndrow also added 112 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Trey Corkin lead all Green Mountain receivers with seven catches for 75 yards. Darius Padilla got involved in the passing game as well, grabbing five balls for 62 yards.

Green Mountain’s rushing game was lead by Jacob Chavez and his 10 yards .

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Lutheran hosting Falcon and Green Mountain taking on Standley Lake.
