Mesa Ridge easily put away Coronado by a score of 27-6 on Friday, Sept. 20.
Kyle Gaster led Mesa Ridge’s passing attack with 136 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown with no interceptions. Gaster also added one rushing touchdown. Mesa Ridge’s leading receiver was Dillon Campos, who caught two passes for 53 yards and one score.
Elijah Ross paced all Mesa Ridge rushers with 69 yards in the contest, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Mesa Ridge hosting Widefield and Coronado taking on Palmer.
