Palisade easily defeated Grand Junction Central by a score of 34-7 on Friday, Sept. 20.

Franklin Barks lead all Palisade rushers with 172 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 10.8 yards per carry. Julio Rodriguez added 78 yards on the ground, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. Gabe Harrison added 60 yards and one touchdown, averaging 6 yards per carry.

Joe Carol powered Grand Junction Central’s passing attack with 102 yards through the air. Jackson Eads lead all Grand Junction Central receivers with three catches for 37 yards.

Grand Junction Central’s ground game was lead by Patrick Courtney who ran for 38 yards in the game, averaging 12.7 yards per carry.

Palisade will stay home and play Montrose, while Grand Junction Central will travel to play Coronado.
