Haxtun couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Dayspring Christian Academy squad, losing by a score of 48-8.
Christian Still powered Dayspring Christian Academy’s passing attack with 214 yards through the air, throwing four touchdowns and one interception. Still also added 98 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Ethan Pratt lead all Dayspring Christian Academy receivers with four receptions for 77 yards and two scores. Caden Bonnell got involved in the passing game as well, hauling in four passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
In addition to Still’s effort, Garrett Krehbiel paced the Dayspring Christian Academyrushing game by accumulating 51 yards in the game, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. Krehbiel also tacked on 41 receiving yards.
Looking ahead to their next games, Haxtun will stay home and play Merino, while Dayspring Christian Academy will travel to play Caliche.
