Hinkley earned a win when they beat Kennedy 38-28 on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Xavier Starks led Hinkley’s passing attack with 197 yards through the air, tossing four touchdowns without an interception. Jerry Taylor lead all Hinkley receivers with six catches for 150 yards and three scores.
Hinkley’s ground attack was lead by Ty’ren Draper who accrued 142 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 10.9 yards per carry. Dorian Fox added 67 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 6.1 yards per carry, as well as 38 receiving yards and one touchdown. Richard Taylor contributed 59 yards , averaging 9.8 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, Hinkley will play host to Sand Creek, while Kennedy will travel to play Thompson Valley.
