Monday may have been the official start of autumn, but the week ahead is expected to bring warm temperatures to Denver in the high 70s and 80s.
Forecasters predict dry skies through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday calls for sunny skies and a high of 84 degrees with calm winds and a low of 52 degrees. The high on Friday is expected to dip to 76 degrees, going back up to 79 degrees on Saturday.
It will be warm and dry through Thursday, then cooler with a chance of showers Friday.

The mountains and plains near Wyoming are experiencing elevated fire danger, according to the weather service’s hazardous weather outlook. Gusty westerly winds are expected, with gusts up to 40 mph over high mountain passes and up to 25 mph across lower elevations near the Wyoming border.
