A pedestrian hit by a vehicle in Thornton on Thursday morning has died, according to police.
With great sadness, we now report the pedestrian involved in this morning's crash in the 3800 block E. 120th Ave is deceased. The incident is now being investigated as a fatal auto/pedestrian collision. Please be careful, whether driving or walking. .

The incident happened before 8 a.m. in the 3800 block of East 120th Avenue, police said. Eastbound traffic was diverted onto Madison Street after the collision. The road reopened at about 10:30 a.m.
At 4:45 p.m. police announced that the pedestrian has died. An investigation is ongoing. The identity of the victim was not released Thursday afternoon.
