Salida couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Cedaredge squad, losing by a score of 61-24 on Friday.

Dusty Emig spearheaded the Cedaredge rushing attack by gaining 329 yards and four touchdowns in the game, averaging 17.3 yards per carry.

Zayne Walker led Salida’s passing attack with 270 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns and one interception. Walker also added 54 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Walker’s most prolific target in the game was Ben Fuller, who caught five passes for 127 yards and one score. Braden Collins contributed in the passing game as well, hauling in three passes for 64 yards and one touchdown.

Salida’s rushing attack was lead by Eddie Glaser and his 29 yards on four carries.

Salida will play host to Pagosa Springs, while Cedaredge will travel to play Olathe.
