Denver East earned a win when they beat Mountain Range 19-6 on Saturday.
Denver East quarterback Dylan Wigglesworth led the passing attack with 271 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns without an interception. Jay Barry lead all Denver East receivers with six catches for 144 yards and one score. Aaron Franklin contributed in the passing game as well, hauling in six passes for 63 yards.
Denver East’s ground attack was spearheaded by Isaiah Davis who tallied 28 yards in the contest, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
Koby Hudson powered Mountain Range’s passing attack with 68 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and two interception. Logan Dexter lead all Mountain Range receivers with four receptions for 29 yards and one score.
Mountain Range’s rushing game was paced by Anthony Vieth who ran for 100 yards in the contest, averaging 5 yards per carry.
Denver East will stay home and play Westminster, while Mountain Range will travel to play Far Northeast Warriors.
